Method 1: Measure a Ring

• Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the finger where you plan to wear your new ring.
• Using a ruler or measuring tape, measure the internal diameter of the ring. Be sure to use a ruler with millimetre (mm) markings. Place the ring on the ruler and measure across the inside of the circle, where it touches your finger.

Method 2: Measure your Finger

• Cut a piece of string or paper to about 10 centimetres (cm) in length.
• Wrap the string or paper around the part of your finger where the ring will sit. Make sure it fits comfortably—neither too tight nor too loose.
• Mark the point where the ends overlap with a pen. Then, lay the string or paper flat and measure the length (in millimetres) from the end to the mark you made.

• Finger size can change slightly throughout the day, with temperature fluctuations, or as time passes. For the most accurate results, measure your finger in the afternoon when your hands are warmer. • Be sure to measure the exact finger where you plan to wear the ring (or use a ring that fits that finger). Your ring size can vary from finger to finger and hand to hand.
